Position Senior Manager, Qualitative Research, Beijing
Description

1) Grow qualitative business

To meet annual revenue targets for Beijing qualitative business
By working with CR QT colleagues in Beijing to service key clients
To build up repeat client base for Beijing office
To source for new clients for Beijing office
Ensure all proposals, methodologies and job specifications are in line with qualitative requirements and fit with client objectives
2) Promote Branded Proprietary Product

To meet the product's revenue targets(part of total revenue target)
To promote the prodcut in various research proposals to clients

3) Grow team to meet business needs

Work with reporting manager to assess need to expand team
Get involved with HR Business Partner to interview and recruit the right people for the team

4) Train team to be independent researchers and sellers

Provide on-the-job training to team members continuously
Necessary to include team members in client meetings and pitches
Guide junior staff on designing research methodologies and writing the right proposals
Guide staff in the implementation of project
Be involved to review all analysis and report-writing
Provide specific classroom training to Beijing Consumer Research team and Qualitative team members on a regular basis

5) Build knowledge base and sharing of learning

Create case studies base on projects conducted
Continue build up of knowledge base of Beijing
Share key learning and output from key studies with Consumer Research team in Beijing
Typical Position Pre-requisites:

At least 6 years experience in qualitative research
Spent at least 2 years in a management role
Already an accomplished qualitative researcher and moderator
Well-versed in all qualitative methodologies; from standard focus groups and depth interviews to the entire spectrum of ethnography
Fluent in written & spoken English
Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese a plus
