| Description |
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and client requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with business development colleagues, R&D, marketing, research team and support to ensure revenue and client satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Define the product strategy and go-to-market roadmap
Deliver specified product (or The Service) with prioritized features and corresponding justification
Work with R&D or regional/global team to deliver product system
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Be an expert with respect to the competition
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
Perform product demos to internal/external clients
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
Deliver a quarterly revenue forecast
Develop sales tools and collateral
Propose an overall budget to ensure success
Brief and train the sales force at regular bases
Brief research team on key applications/research points for data usage
Act as a leader within the company
Typical Position Pre-requisites:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Manager or related function
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
2+ years of experience in a job in the market research industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Able to resolve problems in a timely manner
